Holder of a degree in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Environmental Sciences from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE), and currently a graduate student in the Bioinformatics program at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN). He served as an Undergraduate Research Fellow at the Laboratory of Bioinformatics and Evolutionary Biology (LABBE), working on projects involving genetic diversity in populations of Philodryas nattereri and Oxybelis aeneus in the Brazilian Northeast, as well as the in silico analysis of genes related to coat patterns in Herpailurus yagouaroundi. He also interned at the Laboratory of Plant Genetics and Biotechnology (LGBV) and served as a teaching assistant for Animal Biology II (2021.1 and 2021.2) and Population Genetics (2022.1 and 2022.2). He has experience in Genetics, Molecular Biology, Bioinformatics, Computer Science, programming logic in Python and R, development of bioinformatics tools, Genomics, Back-end and Front-end development, and Mutagenesis, with a primary interest in Bioinformatics, Genetics, Molecular Biology, and Web Systems Development.
