Douglas Nunes da Silva is a B.Sc. student in Information Technology at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN) and holds a technical degree in Informatics from the Federal Institute of Education, Science and Technology of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN, 2017–2021). He worked as a young apprentice at AQUATEC LTDA (2019–2021), focusing on IT infrastructure and user support, and as a technical support fellow in Information Technology at the Laboratory of Molecular Biology and Genomics (LBMG/UFRN, 2021–2024), also focusing on infrastructure and user support. He is currently an undergraduate researcher at the Multiuser Center of Bioinformatics (BioME – IMD/UFRN), where he studies and applies transcriptomics, systems biology, and machine learning.
