He holds Bachelor in Biomedical Science (UFDPar, 2022), a MSc in Psychobiology (UFRN, 2025), and is currently a PhD student at the Bioinformatics Multidisciplinary Environment of the Digital Metropolis Institute at UFRN (BioME/IMD/UFRN). He has experience in physiology, genetics, and behavior studies, particularly focusing on cognitive performance. During his master’s, he investigated molecular and behavioral alterations in fetal alcohol spectrum disorder (FASD) using the zebrafish (Danio rerio) model. In his PhD, he continues to explore molecular markers for FASD, working with transcriptomics and genomics analyses. He is a volunteer in the science communication team for biotechnology at Profissão Biotec, serving as the leader of the infographics team.
